Peace & Justice Week began as a goal of the student club, Students for Global Peacebuilding (SGP), to bring peace awareness to the campus and to inspire individuals to work toward a better today. Peace & Justice Week is an opportunity to learn about the pragmatic and systems-changing tactics of peacebuilding and nonviolence from leading experts in the field.
Goals of Peace & Justice Week:
- Encourage community connectedness at UCI
- Gain conflict resolution skills
- Examine how peacebuilding programs have made an impact
- Explore career options in peacebuilding
- See how art can promote peace
- Have fun!
